Why Is the Son of Man Hidden?
The modern son of man is "hidden," as the prophet Isaiah foresaw, because the "weapons of his warfare" against the corrupt forces of greed and self-interest are merely written words of truth.
However, it should be understood that he may not always be hidden. He has been hidden only during his journey and as he delivered his work before him according to the prophecy of Isaiah, and he will remain hidden until the message is finally recognized and then discussed by the religious authorities of the world. But, while he may be able to sing his songs for you in person, it is possible that he may be dead by the time the whole world gets the message. It depends on how soon enough people get the message.
This needs to be said because most people who hear of this message ask why its author has not announced in public who he is. They wonder, if he really is the modern son of man and Messiah, why is he "hidden," and why has the message he has delivered before him been written anonymously?
There are very good reasons why he has not, and they are based on religious prophecy and common sense.
First, if he did try to announce in public that he is the son of man or Mashiach/Messiah, most people would merely dismiss him as another deluded fool or pretender with a Messianic Complex, and many religious people would accuse him of being a false messiah. That's why the prophet Isaiah wrote that the son of man who actually fulfills prophecy by delivering judgment will not cause his voice to be heard as an orator in public, but instead send his work before him.
That is logical and makes sense, because most Jews, Christians and Muslims have their own idea of who and what the Messiah will be. And, as Jesus of Nazareth correctly predicted, there have been and are many false christs, false shepherds and false prophets. Therefore, the real son of man would be accused and dismissed as a religious nut, a heretic, and even an anti-christ.
Of course, his work has already been rejected for decades because of that, but if he were to announce and declare his role and mission publicly, rather than anonymously in this way, his critics and accusers would more actively try to discredit and denigrate him, and "assassinate" his character, at the very least. And it would be much easier for his malicious, deadly enemies to try to kill him.
You see, he is hated and despised by some people who claim to be religious, who don’t bother to even read the message and understand it but instead have a knee-jerk reaction against a man who claims to be the prophesied son of man and principal messenger for God and the Spirit of truth. They are convinced that they already know who and what the Messiah will be and what he will do.
But, his role is not as a king, not as a pontiff or pope, nor a head of any religion or government. The modern son of man has learned his lesson and knows better. In fact, as the prophet Isaiah foretold, he is contrite of spirit. He even still finds it extremely difficult to believe God has chosen and sent him to deliver the message of judgment, and he is still plagued by self-doubt and fear of displeasing God.
Nevertheless, long ago (way before he learned about the prophecies about him), he realized that what the world needed was not another would-be religious "savior" playing god or a conquering hero or a political leader playing king. He saw that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, and he learned and realized that a good servant of God empowers and liberates the people from the rule of those who fight for and win power over them.
He had realized that, however, only after making some serious mistakes. In 1975 at age 34, after witnessing God and seeing the Divine Light within at age 30 in 1971, he had entertained and even acted on the idea that he had been called by God to be a great leader. But, after falling very hard from the tower of egotism at age 36 in 1977, when he was first stricken and afflicted, he began to learn to allow the Spirit of truth to prune his ego. (And after many many years he finally learned that the process of spiritual rebirth is one of gradual unfoldment, which can take a very long time.)
However, in 1979 he received two miracles which showed him his mission. That is, he was by divine guidance shown evidence in the Bible why he was stricken and afflicted, and that was just the beginning of his education about the prophecies of the world’s religions.
But even after having received three incredible, major miracles, he couldn’t bring himself to believe that he had not only been called but chosen for a crucial mission. It took him several years to begin to accept it, and he has still been plagued by self-doubt and fear ever since.
Nevertheless, deep within his heart and soul he knew who and what he is, and he realized that what the world needs is the God’s honest truth, and nothing but the truth, because the real truth will set us all free and show you how to establish government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people — no longer to be of, by, and for the wealthiest few. And in 1984 he began trying to deliver the message, even though it was rejected.
Now you can learn the real story because the prophets Isaiah and Jesus actually foretold it. If you read the articles on Prophecies Re: He Who Fulfills Them, The Story of the Modern Son of Man, and Isaiah Chapter 53, you will see why it is written in Isaiah 42:1-4 that:
Thus said the Lord our God: "Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him, he shall make the right to go forth to the nations. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street [or in public]. ... he shall make the right to go forth according to the truth. He shall not fail nor be crushed, until he has set the right in the earth." – Isaiah 42:1-4
Everyone, and especially Jews, Christians and Muslims, should notice that "he shall make the right to go forth according to the truth." That it is consistent with Isaiah’s prophecy which says God’s "arm," which is made known only to the son of man per Isaiah 53:1, will deliver "his work before him" in a strong message (according to Isaiah 40:10 and 62:11), and thus "make the right" for the message to be heard in all nations.
In other words, the message the modern son of man has sent before him must be widely accepted as true and righteous judgment to establish his right to be heard – not as a leader or ruler, but as a teacher and counselor. For while government is on his shoulder, he shows you how and why we are all equal joint heirs to the coming "kingdom" of God on earth, and we shall share the "throne" in governments of, by, and for the people.
Also, notice that despite the claim in the Christian book of Matthew, Isaiah 42:1-4 is not about Jesus. For Jesus did cry, did rise up, and did cause his voice to be heard in the streets, on the roads, in public, and in synagogues.
Now, of course, some Jews today have been led to believe that the book of Isaiah is not about the Messiah but about the nation of Israel and the Jewish people collectively, and Christians have been led to believe that the book of Isaiah is about Jesus of Nazareth. But they have all been misguided by erroneous interpretations.
If you read the articles cited above and on the menu to the left, you will see that there is a very good reason why the prophet Isaiah wrote what he did about the modern son of man. Furthermore, the Jewish Sanhedrin had concluded before Jesus was born that the book of Isaiah was indeed about the Messiah, which is why the early Christians claimed that it spoke of Jesus.
The fact, however, is that Jesus himself knew it did not, and that is why he said the following about the son of man to come:
"The kingdom of God comes not with observation in the world, for the kingdom of God is within you. The days will come when people will want to see one of the days of the son of man, and they shall not see it. So they will look here and there, but do not follow them. For as the lightning lightens all parts under heaven, so shall also the son of man be in his day. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of his generation." (Luke 17:20-25)
Jesus was not speaking of himself in that instance, because he was accepted by multitudes of Jews, Greeks and others in his generation, and he suffered not "first" but only after he had completed his mission. So in fact, Jesus was speaking of the next son of man has first suffered many things and been rejected, whose message is sent before him, as Isaiah prophesied, and can be seen in a flash, like lightning, all over the world.
Further indications of God’s intent and method are revealed in the following:
Isaiah 49: 2-5: "[God] has made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of His hand has He hid me; and He has made me a polished shaft, in His quiver hath He concealed me. And He said unto me: 'Thou art My servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified. But I said: 'I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nought and vanity; yet surely my right is with the Lord, and my recompense with my God. And now says the Lord that formed me from the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, and that Israel be gathered unto Him--for I am honorable in the eyes of the Lord, and my God has become my strength."
Isaiah 51:16: "And I have put My words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion: 'You are My people.’"
Isaiah 53:3-4: "He was despised, and forsaken of men, a man of pains, and acquainted with disease, and as one from whom men hide their face. He was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely our diseases he did bear, and our pains he carried; whereas we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."
Isaisah 57:17-18: "For the iniquity of his covetousness was I, and smote him: I hid me, and was angry, and he went on frowardly [willfully] in the way of his heart. [But] I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners."
Isaiah 62:11-12: "Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. And they shall call them the holy people, The redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought out, a city not forsaken."
In other words, the son of man, the Messiah, is only human, and has been covetous and willful in the sight of God. But even so, God understands that his heart is in the right place, and has guided him.
As for his being a "city not forsaken," that is consistent with this statement in the Christian book of Revelation:
Rev 3:12: "Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name." – Jesus of Nazareth
Now, there are some religious Jewish scholars and authorities who will initially claim that the statements quoted above are not about a modern Messiah, and there are some religious Christian scholars and authorities who will initially claim that only Jesus has fulfilled (or somehow will fulfill) the prophecies of the Messiah. However, when what is written in all the articles on this site and those linked to it on the supporting site are understood, those claims will be dismissed.
You see, Luke 4:18 states that Jesus said: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners ... and to set the oppressed free."
That, according to Luke, fulfilled Isaiah 61:1-3, which states: "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners ... to comfort all who mourn and grieve."
However, even though Jesus understood it, he did not fulfill Isaiah 61:1-3, and we can see why by reading what is written just preceding that. For Isaiah 60:18_21 states: "No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders ... for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory ... and your days of sorrow will end. ... Then all your people will be righteous ..."
Clearly, Jesus of Nazareth did not fulfill that 2000 years ago, just as he did not fulfill most of the other Jewish Hebrew prophecies. However, it is obvious that the followers of Jesus did not understand that, even though Jesus knew and said that he would not fulfill all the prophecies, and he knew they would not be fulfilled and his true testimony known until the end of the age that he ushered in by the modern son of man, the principal messenger for the Spirit of truth.
Remember, the Lord God said to the son of man through the prophet Isaiah: "Have I not chosen to loose the chains of injustice and remove the yoke, to set the oppressed free? ... If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing fingers and malicious talk, and if you spend yourself in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness." (Isaiah 58:6-10)
In the final analysis, the true fulfillment of prophecy shows the incredible genius of God, who wants no man to play god, but instead wants an end to conflict, division and war and all human beings to be equal joint heirs to the new "kingdom" to come, where only the Lord Our God and the Ancient One in heaven will reign Supreme.
We are equal joint heirs to our divine inheritance, and we are One In Spirit.
